Thomas R. Watson Board of Governors Award
Nick Abramson
for his exemplary support of the Association through the volunteering of his time, expertise and financial support.
Granite State Advocate Award
Terrence Daley
for his work in Appeal of Pelmac Industries, which establishes that a claimant’s suicide does not preclude claimant’s
dependents from receiving workers’ compensation death benefits
when the suicide is a direct and natural consequence of the original compensable injury.
Granite State Advocate Award
Matthew B. Cox
for his work in Bisceglia v Secretary of State, where the NH Supreme Court rejected attempts to broadly
expand NH’s recreational use immunity statute.
Civil Justice Award
Arend Tensen
for his work on behalf of dairy farmers all over the country in a class action lawsuit which resulted in a
55 million dollar settlement for defective robotic milkers.
Lifetime Achievement Award
R. David DePuy
for his distinguished career, the positive impact he has had on the lives of other lawyers,
on the laws in NH, and for his body of work and leadership.
President’s Award
Holly B. Haines
for her continued outstanding service, leadership and support of NHAJ.
