New HampshireTrial Lawyers Association Now
New Hampshire Association for Justice

December 21, 2007

Concord, NH - Christopher J Seufert, President of the New Hampshire Trial Lawyers Association, now the New Hampshire Association for Justice, announced today that the organization is changing its name, effective immediately.

"This shouldn't come as a big surprise. Our membership studied the issue, debated it, and decided to follow our national organization’s lead,” said Seufert. “We want our name to describe what we do which is work for justice whether in the courtroom, at the Legislature, or in our communities.”

Seufert further explained that the name change more clearly reflects the mission of the organization to promote the administration of justice for the public good and especially to preserve and enhance the rights of persons to have access to the courts and to our system of justice.”
The American Association for Justice, formerly the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, changed its name early in 2007.
